Counsel House offers a wide variety of services.
While our primary services provided are mental health therapy, we also provide other services outlined below.
Prices for regular mental health therapy will depend on your individual health insurance policies. Pricing for regular mental health therapy at our self-pay rate, for those without health insurance, or choose not to utilize individual health insurance policies will be $120.00 per session. For individual health insurance prices, please contact office staff with your health insurance information and we can provide the pricing with your insurance policy.
Summary of Additional Services:
COURT APPEARANCE:
Some Counsel House professional staff will appear in court with appropriate notice. The fee for this service begins at $200 per hour. This fee includes port to port, preparation time, and testimony/deposition time. The payment for this service is due within one week of receipt of Subpoena for the court date. A total of $800 (4 hours) is due at this time. If 4 hours of time is not used, you will be reimbursed the difference. If court is canceled, and we are given at least ONE weeks notice, you will be refunded all but $200. If court is cancelled with less than one weeks notice, you will forfeit all fees collected for court. If the court appearance is continued, then the fees paid will remain with Counsel House until the new court date. If the court date is cancelled after continuance, the same stipulations apply as above.
The fee for an office staff appearance is $150.00 per hour with the same stipulations as above.
WRITTEN REPORTS:
If you or your attorney, DCS case managers, probation officers, judges, etc. request a written report, the fee is $75.00 per report. If a follow up report is requested, the fee will be $50.00. If an evaluation is requested, we will require a minimum of 2 sessions to compile and complete a report. Fees for reports are due before the report can be drafted, and we ask for a minimum of 7-10 business days to complete the report and for it to be available for pick-up.
SUPERVISED VISITATION:
Counsel House front office staff can provide supervised visitation, visitation times with provided supervision from a Counsel House staff member, and not a therapist. Very minimal notes will be kept for these sessions (date/time of visit, who attended, activities done.) The fee for this service will be $100 per hour paid one week before the scheduled visitation. Hours available for supervised visitation are Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
SUPERVISED THERAPEUTIC VISITATION:
The charge for a master’s or doctorate level therapist to provide more intense supervision, interventions, and documentations that some families require per the court or DCS will be $120 per hour paid one week in advance of the scheduled visitation. Hours available for supervised therapeutic visitation vary week to week, based on the therapists availability.
Detailed session notes for each visit will be provided as part of the hourly fee for verification of the visitation. For more detailed written court reports/ court appearances, the fees will be the same fees/stipulations as “written reports” and "court appearance" fees outlined above.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL DOCUMENTATION:
Therapists at Counsel House are willing to complete Emotional Support Animal documentation as required for a variety of reasons. There is a fee of $50 per document completed. Clients must have been seen a minimum of 3 therapeutic visits in order for this paperwork to be completed. Fees must be paid prior to the documentation being completed in order for you to receive the paperwork, or for it to be sent to whichever entity you need us to send it to.
